Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 person night shift team, ensuring productivity and safety compliance
- Manage inventory systems and optimize warehouse workflows during overnight hours
- Coordinate loading/unloading of high-value shipments using RF scanners
- Implement and maintain OSHA standards in a 24/7 logistics environment
- Train staff on new equipment and operational procedures
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with day shift management for seamless operations handover
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supply chain management experience
- Previous night shift supervision in logistics or manufacturing
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills for overnight operational challenges
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Valid DC driver's license required
