Responsibilities
- Resolve Technical Incidents: Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for clients via phone and ticketing systems.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, updates, and patches to ensure optimal performance during off-hours.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, professional, and empathetic support to clients experiencing technical difficulties.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all support tickets, resolutions, and technical findings.
- Alert Management: Monitor system alerts and respond proactively to potential outages.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate critical issues to the day-shift engineering team to ensure seamless continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, troubleshooting network connectivity, and remote desktop tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime during peak periods or as needed.
