Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for employees remotely and on-site.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor server performance, network traffic, and security alerts during the night shift to prevent downtime.
- Ticket Management: Prioritize and escalate IT support tickets in our ServiceNow system, ensuring a 98% response rate.
- Security Maintenance: Conduct routine security patches, software updates, and backups to safeguard company data.
- Help Desk Support: Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to internal staff via phone and remote desktop tools.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of technical issues, solutions, and system changes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of IT support or help desk experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or equivalent technical certification is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
