Responsibilities
- Monitor server health and system performance 24/7 to ensure maximum uptime and stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal users.
- Respond to and prioritize incoming IT support tickets via the helpdesk system.
- Execute nightly system backups and security patches during the quiet hours.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to hand over critical tickets and system status reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Previous experience working in a night shift environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and common office productivity software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must reside in the Dallas, TX area for reliable on-site availability.
- Valid IT certification (CompTIA A+, Network+) is a plus but not required.
