Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot server infrastructure, networks, and end-user devices during the overnight shift.
- Resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support tickets efficiently and escalate complex issues to day shift teams.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security audits to ensure data integrity.
- Manage user access, permissions, and hardware provisioning for night-shift staff.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve night-shift operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Must be available to work full-time night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools, Active Directory, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation for potential on-site visits.
