The Role:
As a Weekend IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our team, ensuring business continuity during critical off-hours. You will handle hardware and software troubleshooting, user support, and system maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal staff via phone, email, and remote tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage and resolve software installation, configuration, and patching requests.
- Monitor system performance and alert the team to any critical issues during the weekend shift.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all tickets and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in IT support or help desk environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
- Familiarity with remote access tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility for overtime.
