Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services and APIs designed for 24/7 availability.
- Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics during the night shift to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Execute critical system patches and security updates to maintain data integrity and compliance.
- Debug complex production issues and collaborate with the day-shift team for seamless handovers.
- Optimize database queries and infrastructure costs to improve overall system efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Proven experience working effectively in a night shift or rotating schedule environment.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
