Responsibilities
- Monitor server environments, network hardware, and power infrastructure 24/7 during night shifts.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks, including cable management, environmental checks, and equipment testing.
- Respond immediately to system alerts and troubleshoot hardware or software issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage physical security access and conduct nightly rounds of the facility.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team to implement scheduled upgrades and patches.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all maintenance activities and incidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent technical experience is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work nights (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a 24/7 facility environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
