Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in our network.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with external law enforcement or vendors when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees.
- Analyze security logs and threat intelligence to proactively prevent breaches.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certification: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel), firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), and Windows/Linux environments.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
