Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and global megatrends to develop actionable 2026+ strategic frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and business opportunities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning documents for executive stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate disruptive innovations across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital ecosystems
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies to maintain competitive advantage
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to boards and C-suite executives with compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor junior strategists in future studies methodologies and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-stakes innovation environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, white papers)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis, STEEP framework)
