Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling future-focused initiatives
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Design and implement future-proofing frameworks for organizational resilience
- Mentor innovation teams in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight (articles, whitepapers, books)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Experience leading cross-geographic innovation teams
