- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and innovation strategists
- Author proprietary research reports on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D to integrate foresight insights into product development lifecycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences across diverse industries
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (e.g., HBR, Wired, MIT Tech Review)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives implemented from foresight work
