Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to forecast future scenarios
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing horizon-scanning initiatives and proof-of-concept projects
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry disruptors
- Create compelling vision documents and future-state narratives to inspire organizational alignment
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across all departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional skills in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) highly desirable
