Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing prototyping and pilot programs for futuristic solutions
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and stakeholders to drive strategic decisions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to access cutting-edge innovations
- Design and maintain a horizon scanning framework to identify disruptive technologies
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in future-focused methodologies and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into scalable business solutions
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation lifecycles
- Strong background in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate abstract concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy preferred
