Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market projections
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and Board of Directors
- Build and mentor an internal innovation lab focused on exponential technologies
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies for long-term strategic planning
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains
- Exceptional storytelling and scenario-building capabilities
- Experience leading high-stakes innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
