Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies and societal shifts through quantitative modeling and ethnographic research
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for R&D and product teams
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on future-proofing their businesses
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation summits
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental projects in quantum computing and biotech
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight analytics framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting tech adoption curves (provide portfolio of forecasts)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published author in innovation journals or top-tier tech publications
