Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and R&D capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (quantum, AI, synthetic biology) for strategic opportunities
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify disruptive startups
- Author whitepapers on future technology paradigms
- Manage $5M+ R&D portfolio allocation for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, or biotech convergence
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals
