Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026-2030 commercial potential
- Develop and maintain a strategic technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market disruption timelines
- Conduct feasibility assessments and ROI projections for emerging tech investments (quantum computing, AGI, neural interfaces)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into development roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging tech assessment (quantum, AI, biotech, or Web3)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) or equivalent
- Experience building tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or scale-ups
- Deep understanding of global tech ecosystems and venture capital landscape
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Prior experience with 5+ year strategic planning cycles
