Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person troubleshooting
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software systems including desktops and servers
- Document technical issues and resolutions in IT service management systems
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on network security and system upgrades
- Assist with user training on new technologies and best practices
- Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance
- Support office equipment setup and maintenance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and networking fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Customer service mindset with patience and empathy
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Valid Texas driver's license (for occasional off-site support)
- CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
