Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (2025-2026 horizon) to identify commercial opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech integration into consumer applications
- Lead 'Future Labs' prototyping sprints with engineering and design teams
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 tech trends
- Mentor junior innovators in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning techniques
- Strong network with academic and industry tech pioneers
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
