Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations across AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech sectors
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies with market potential
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive trends and strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business objectives and growth targets
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks and future scenarios to stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and foster a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (patents preferred)
- Executive-level experience developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Strong background in market analysis and competitive intelligence for future tech markets
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- Experience scaling innovation teams and managing R&D budgets over $10M
