Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies, market disruptions, and socio-economic trends through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing organizational structures and talent ecosystems
- Produce high-impact trend reports and predictive models for C-suite decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into product innovation roadmaps
- Represent the firm at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AGI, synthetic biology, or climate modeling
- Proven track record of publishing forward-looking insights in reputable journals or platforms
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Palisade, Gartner)
- Experience developing scenario planning frameworks for multinational organizations
- Strong presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented initiatives or trend predictions
