Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer medications and treatments under physician guidance
- Perform vital signs and EKG procedures
- Assist with patient documentation and EMR maintenance
- Coordinate with weekend nursing staff for seamless care delivery
- Manage inventory and supply restocking for weekend operations
- Respond to patient inquiries and triage urgent situations
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience required
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 6am-6pm)
- BLS/CPR certification current
- Proficient in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently during off-hours
- Background check and drug screen required
