Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for hardware, software, and network systems during weekend shifts
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues including server failures, security breaches, and connectivity problems
- Deploy and configure new equipment including workstations, printers, and network devices
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations
- Collaborate with weekday teams to ensure seamless handover of ongoing issues
- Monitor system health and proactively address potential weekend disruptions
- Train end-users on security protocols and best practices for remote work
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience with Windows/macOS environments
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in Active Directory, VPN setups, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network diagnostics tools (Wireshark, PingPlotter)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and remote access tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
