Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake, scheduling, and registration during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow and appointment adherence
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Address patient concerns and escalate critical issues to clinical supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges
- Support weekend triage and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- 1+ years of healthcare coordination or medical office experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure weekend environments
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail with documentation requirements
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy protocols
