Responsibilities
- Manage the receiving, sorting, and staging of incoming freight with 100% accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock integrity.
- Prepare and organize outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Collaborate with the weekend supervisor to identify workflow bottlenecks and propose solutions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist in loading trucks and ensuring proper weight distribution for safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical logistics certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or inventory management (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Ability to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory management software.
