Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, workstations, and network connectivity problems.
- Manage IT ticket queues efficiently, prioritizing critical incidents to ensure minimal downtime for our staff.
- On-site support for special events and maintenance windows as required.
- Conduct routine system checks to ensure security patches and updates are applied correctly.
- Collaborate with the weekday team to document recurring issues and improve our technical processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical customer service.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Current CompTIA A+ certification is a strong plus.
