Responsibilities
- Provide critical patient assessment and intervention in high-pressure emergency scenarios
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care for trauma and acute illness cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Lead rapid response teams during critical incidents
- Mentor new nursing staff during onboarding
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ohio Board of Nursing verification required
