Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and injections
- Manage patient intake and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and insurance verification
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Tennessee BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Flexibility to work evening/weekend shifts
