Responsibilities
- Administer injections, EKGs, and vital sign monitoring
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation and patient records
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient prep
- Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment scheduling
- Ensure strict OSHA/JCAHO compliance protocols
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
- Ability to work rotating weekends/shifts
