Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ nursing staff in high-acuity cardiac ICU unit
- Develop/implement evidence-based care protocols
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams for complex cases
- Ensure JCAHO compliance and safety standards
- Mentor staff through continuous education programs
- Conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license (required)
- 5+ years ICU experience with 2+ years leadership
- BSN or MSN (MSN preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong EHR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
