Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of cloud-native microservices using Java/Python
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.9% uptime across 500+ production services
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Implement security best practices (OWASP, SOC 2 compliance)
- Drive DevOps automation using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Lead post-incident reviews and system reliability improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise software development
- Expert proficiency in Java and/or Python with Spring Boot/Django
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Proven track record with microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design expertise
