Responsibilities
- Monitor and review user-generated content (text, images, and video) for policy violations.
- Flag inappropriate content and escalate complex cases to senior moderators.
- Ensure all content moderation tasks are completed within strict timeframes.
- Maintain accurate records of moderation activities and metrics.
- Collaborate with the QA team to refine moderation guidelines.
- Stay updated on platform policy changes and apply them consistently.
- Provide constructive feedback to users regarding content removals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, moderation, or data entry is a plus.
- Excellent internet connection and a quiet workspace (if remote).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot subtle patterns.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be a resident of Illinois with valid government ID.
