Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for medical treatments and examinations
- Take vital signs and collect medical histories
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
- Manage patient records and EHR systems
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Ensure clinic sanitation and inventory management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
