Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 15-bed ICU unit with 24/7 accountability
- Implement evidence-based clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor and develop nursing staff through targeted training programs
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient care pathways
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and CMS regulations
- Manage resource allocation and departmental budget ($2.5M)
- Lead emergency response coordination during high-volume periods
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license with 5+ years ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- MSN or BSN with 2+ years leadership experience
- Proven track record in staff development and retention
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated crisis management skills
- Strong financial acumen for budget oversight
