Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 innovation ecosystem roadmap with 18-month strategic horizons
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify emerging risks and opportunities across 5+ industries
- Produce quarterly trend intelligence reports using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Partner with R&D to validate future concepts and accelerate prototyping cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership teams
- Manage a $2M innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor a team of 3 futurist analysts and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field
- Experience with AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech disruption forecasting
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
