Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable cloud-native applications using AWS/GCP services
- Lead code reviews and establish best practices for team-wide adoption
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical guidance
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech conferences
- Own feature delivery from conception to production deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with cloud deployment experience
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of leading successful production deployments
- Strong problem-solving skills with system design experience
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
