Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and infrastructure-as-code initiatives
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and architecture planning
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance tuning and security audits for production systems
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and drive implementation
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with industry trends
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and RESTful API design
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architecture projects
