Responsibilities
- Design & Implementation: Architect and implement complex quantum algorithms for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices, optimizing for performance and error mitigation.
- Hybrid Systems: Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models that leverage the strengths of both paradigms.
- Roadmap Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for our quantum computing infrastructure, ensuring scalability and future-proofing.
- Cryptography: Lead research into post-quantum cryptographic standards and quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols.
- Collaboration: Partner with academic institutions and research labs to stay ahead of global quantum computing trends.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics or computational complexity.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or high-performance computing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Mathematical Aptitude: Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle abstract mathematical problems and translate them into robust software solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
