Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/Azure cloud solutions for high-traffic government applications
- Lead DevOps automation initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for security compliance (FedRAMP, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex system integration challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Document architecture decisions and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS/Azure and Kubernetes
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Federal government cloud project experience (FedRAMP preferred)
- Strong Python/Go scripting capabilities
- CI/CD pipeline mastery (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
