Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful delivery of stadium infrastructure and digital integration for the 2026 World Cup.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with government bodies, sponsors, and venue operators to ensure alignment on technical standards.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, including risk management and contingency strategies for large-scale events.
- Oversee the implementation of IT systems, scoring technology, and fan engagement platforms.
- Monitor budget performance and ensure resources are allocated efficiently across multiple venues.
- Conduct regular site inspections and technical audits to guarantee compliance with FIFA regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Sports Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically within the sports, entertainment, or large-scale construction sectors.
- Proven track record of managing budgets over $10M and leading teams of 15+ professionals.
- Experience working with international governing bodies or large-scale event organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar PM tools.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at the executive level.
- Willingness to travel to multiple venues across the United States as required.
