Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate emerging risks
- Produce high-impact research papers and presentations on future technology convergence
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership team
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive intelligence
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Experience leading global cross-functional teams in tech-driven environments
- Published author or speaker at industry foresight conferences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, STEEP-V, backcasting
