Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotechnology sectors
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D initiatives
- Author strategic whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry conferences
- Advise executive team on emerging risks and opportunities in converging technologies
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Represent company at global futurist forums and policy discussions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology R&D
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial applications
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published author or keynote speaker in innovation/futurism spaces
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIF preferred)
