Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives analyzing market convergence patterns and technological singularity indicators
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical AI governance and autonomous system integration
- Present visionary insights to C-suite executives and industry consortiums including TechCrunch Disrupt and CES
- Mentor junior futurists through our Innovation Incubator program
- Secure $2M+ in R&D funding through competitive grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature or Science journals on emerging technologies
- Expertise in predictive modeling using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and proprietary forecasting algorithms
- Deep understanding of blockchain, neural networks, and nanotechnology convergence points
- Certification in Futures Studies from University of Houston or equivalent institution
- Demonstrated success in securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for advanced research
- Fluency in Python, R, and quantum programming languages (Q#)
