Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify disruptive trends across technology, economics, and social domains
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops with global innovation teams
- Build quantitative and qualitative forecasting models for emerging market opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Translate foresight insights into product development roadmaps and investment strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of publishing influential trend reports or scenario analyses
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Strong quantitative modeling skills with proficiency in Python/R for trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
