Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks 24/7
- Lead incident response for active threats (ransomware, APTs)
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection protocols
- Conduct forensic investigations and compile detailed reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities
- Maintain SIEM dashboards and security automation scripts
- Train junior analysts on threat hunting methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with incident response experience
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Experience with NIST 800-53 compliance standards
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation
