Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation with Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Develop disaster recovery plans and security protocols
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive scaling strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
- AWS/GCP certifications (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain DoD clearance (required for client projects)
