Responsibilities
- Lead Model Development: Spearhead the design and training of cutting-edge Machine Learning models focused on the 2026 landscape, including advanced NLP and computer vision applications.
- Architect Scalable Pipelines: Build robust, high-throughput data pipelines and MLOps infrastructure to support production-grade AI deployment.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Collaborate with product leaders to define the technical vision and strategy for AI integration over the next 2-3 years.
- Optimization & Performance: Continuously monitor, optimize, and fine-tune models for accuracy, speed, and energy efficiency.
- Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging paradigms in AI, ensuring Apex remains a market leader.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in building and deploying production-level machine learning systems.
- AI Expertise: Strong understanding of Deep Learning architectures, transformers, and Reinforcement Learning.
- Cloud Native: Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
