Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging market trends and scientific breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis of emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Author white papers and patents for proprietary 2026-era technologies
- Advise C-suite on disruptive market opportunities and competitive positioning
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation portfolio with measurable ROI tracking
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and exclusive tech summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at FAANG or unicorn startups
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering preferred
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent-tier journals
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Strong network with VCs, academic institutions, and government labs
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and simulation modeling tools
- Experience with ethics frameworks for autonomous systems
