We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Motion Designer to join our award-winning creative team in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex ideas into engaging, high-quality 2D animations that drive brand engagement and user retention. You will work closely with art directors, copywriters, and developers to ensure our visual storytelling meets the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and Design: Create original 2D concepts, storyboards, and animations that align with client brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Motion Graphics: Produce high-fidelity 2D animations using industry-standard software, ensuring fluid timing, smooth transitions, and visual consistency.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain project libraries, ensuring efficient workflow and asset reuse across multiple campaigns.
- Client Collaboration: Present concepts and final animations to clients, incorporating feedback and iterating rapidly to achieve project goals.
- Technical Implementation: Collaborate with developers to ensure animations are optimized for web and mobile platforms, adhering to technical specifications.
- Style Guide Adherence: Maintain and evolve our visual identity system across all 2D deliverables.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in 2D motion design, motion graphics, or animation.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Familiarity with Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
- Portfolio: A strong, curated portfolio demonstrating a range of 2D animation styles, from flat design to character animation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts to non-design stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions within constraints.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field preferred.
